Computing Services
ATLAR is responsible for the management of computational assets as well as the industrial efficiency of companies in various fields that span from aerospace to defence systems.
Advanced Computing Solutions
ATLAR’s primary mission focuses on developing platforms for High Throughput Computing (HTC) environments and tailored smart monitoring and control toolkits.
Platform Engineering and DevOps Automation
Automation, storage, CI/CD, and platform automation for large software estates.
We support high-throughput scientific environments where reproducibility, automation, and operational discipline matter as much as raw performance.
Our team maintains and evolves deployment frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and multiple DevOps workflows that enable development automation and efficiency for multiple teams, using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Make and ArgoCD.

Large-scale and Distributed Computing
Cluster provisioning, workload orchestration and platform maintainability for complex systems
We build, operate and maintain computing platforms for demanding research and engineering environments, spanning multi-node clusters, workload orchestration, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and distributed storage.
Using technologies such as Kubernetes and Ceph, we support big data and high-performance computing initiatives including SKAO - the world’s largest radiotelescope array, expected to generate over 700 PBs of data per year - and INAF - managing the clusters of Italy’s National Institute for Astrophysics to support the deployment of scientific workloads.

Observability,
Telemetry and
Operational Resilience
Custom monitoring, alerting, data acquisition, and automated response for complex systems.
We approach observability as an operational capability, not just a fancy dashboard.
Our work covers sensor integration, infrastructure metrics, service telemetry, alerting pipelines, and custom automation that turns signals into action.
The result is better visibility, faster response, and more resilient platforms, across both systems and processes.
